Erik Rogness is in his 12th season as head coach at Chaska/Chanhassen in 2025-26. He is the 13th coach in the history of the Chaska/Chanhassen wrestling program, which dates back to 1957.
Rogness also begins his 15th season overall as a high school head coach. He has 165 career victories while coaching 42 individual state entrants, and 13 state place winners. Coach Rogness led the team to their first conference title in school history during the 2014-15 season, adding three more titles in his tenure at Chaska/Chanhassen.
Before coming to the Stormhawks, Rogness coached 3 seasons at Robbinsdale Cooper and attended Saint Cloud State University where he was a 3x Academic All-American, Team Captain, and member of the 2011 National Runner-Up Team. In 2016, Rogness was awarded the SCSU Wrestling Alumni Achievement Award.

Trent Butcher is in his 8th season as an assistant for the Stormhawks. Trent is a Stormhawk Alumni, graduating in 2013. He was a 3x state qualifier, taking 3rd his senior season. He is in the Stormhawks All-Time Win list, compiling 124 wins during his high school career.
After graduating from Chaska High School, Trent went on to Southwest Minnesota State University where he was a multiple year starter for the DII Mustangs.

Gary Auer is in his 6th season as an assistant coach for the Stormhawks. He is in his 22nd year overall coaching. Before coming to Eastern Carver County, Coach Auer was a long time coach for AA powerhouse Foley, MN.
Manning was a three-time undefeated state champion (1981-83) at Vermillion High School in South Dakota, including a Class A record 94-straight victories, and was outstanding wrestler of the 1983 state tournament. He also earned an AAU national championship in freestyle and earned several All-American honors.
He went on to wrestle at the University of Minnesota, placing at the Big 10 Tournament three times and earning over 100 victories during his career. He was an assistant coach at Minnesota before moving into the private sector.
This is Tim's 4th season on board with the Stormhawk wrestling program in 2025-26.
Jarred wrestled at Division II powerhouse SCSU where he was a two time NCAA national qualifier and an All-American, placing 4th in his senior campaign.
In high school, Oftedahl is a three-time MSHSL state place winner as he placed first in 2013, fifth in 2012 and second in 2011...4x state qualifier...5x Junior National All-American...Oftedahl is three-time Fargo Junior National All-American in Freestlye and Greco and 2012 National Champion in Greco. In addition, he is a 2011 USA Wrestling National Champion in Folkstyle...posted a 155-16 record.
This is Jarred's 3rd season with the Stormhawk wrestling program in 2025-26.
Brenden is returning to the Stormhawks after coaching stints in both South Dakota and Nebraska.
In high school, Olevson was a four-time state qualifier and two-time MSHSL state place winner taking sixth in 2015 & 2016...Olevson is also a Rumble on the Red Champion while wrestling at 152 pounds in the 2015-16 season. In addition, he is the winningest wrestler in Chaska/Chanhassen history posting a 211-36 career record.
This is Brenden's 2nd season coaching with the Stormhawk wrestling program in 2025-26.
Tom Webb, from Chaska, brings a wealth of experience and dedication to the wrestling mat.
A Jefferson Scranton High School (IA) alum, Tom was a pivotal member of the school’s only team to ever qualify for team state. He went on to wrestle at Iowa Central Community College, where he was a proud member of the championship team in his sophomore year. Following his success at Iowa Central, Tom took his passion for wrestling to the University of Iowa.
This is his 2nd season coaching with the Stormhawks in 2025-26.
